Grand Hotel Opduin is easy to reach. You will be amazed how short your journey will be. It is easy to drive by car free of traffic jams when coming from the west or the south of the Netherlands via the ring road Amsterdam (A10), Zaandam (A8), Purmerend, Hoorn and Den Oever (A7) to Den Helder (N99).
From the east you drive over the Afsluitdijk (A7), via Den Oever to Den Helder. Den Helder can also be reached by train. From Den Helder the TESO ferryboat departs every hour (on the half hour), and will bring you to Texel within twenty minutes. |
